NL premier says provinces need to stop infighting over equalization
Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Dwight Ball and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met Tuesday to discuss pharmacare, federal assistance for electricity rates, and also focused on the current battle brewing between the provinces and Ottawa. Ball says equalization is the wrong target, and he'd like to see a new or reworked fund that would directly assist provinces going through a tough time.
