The 'Spocking' of banknotes comes up at Bank of Canada update

The Bank of Canada is reiterating that defacing banknotes isn't illegal, but governor Stephen Poloz doesn't "encourage" it. Leonard Nimoy's death inspired a resurgence of Spock ear-doodles on Sir Wilfrid Laurier's image on the $5 bill.
