Many thousands of people took part in the demonstration of protest against NATO bombing raids on Yugoslavia in New York. Participants marched through Times Square to the building of the New York Times newspaper with the slogans: "Kosovo is the new Vietnam of America!", "Stop bombing!", "America, stop Clinton now!".
