Newsroom Ready: Bernier slams Conservatives for Warren Kinsella’s ’seek and destroy’ campaign

People's Party of Canada Leader Maxime Bernier said Saturday he wants answers after the Globe and Mail disclosed an orchestrated smear campaign against his party, allegedly at the hands of his Conservative rivals, by Warren Kinsella’s Daisy Group. Bernier said his party has filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Canada Elections against the Conservatives, Kinsella and his consulting firm. He also wondered aloud whether the satirical Rhinoceros party's decision to run a candidate in his riding of Beauce, Que., also named Maxime Bernier, was part of Kinsella's effort to vex voters and undermine his campaign.
