The official wedding cake to be cut by H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth at the weding reception was on view today (Friday) at the Harlesden works of Messrs. McVitie & Price. The cake is of four tiers. stands nine feet high and weighs about 500-lb. The tiers are separated by silver pillars and the whole cake stands on a silver base some forty inches across. Armorial bearing plaques showing the Royal residences, Guide and Sea Rangers and modelled scenes depicting the various athletic and oher pursuits of the royal couple decorate the cake. Mr. Schur, who made the offical cakes for Kind George V and Queen Mary, and christening cakes for the bride and Princess Margaret has designed, made and decorated the cake.
