Firenze - Daniel Hirst's diamond skull shown in Palazzo Vecchio. Named "For the Love of God" the famous artwork by the English artist is a real subject of contemporary worship, exhibited in Florence in the studio of Francesco I, amid tight security and armed guards. In fact, the work has a value of EUR 100 million (the most expensive work of art history), is a platinum cast of a human skull encrusted with 8,601 full-scale 1,106.18 carats of diamonds.
