Former Blue Peter action man Peter DUncan sits on his Raleigh bike with Tea Council girl Sarah Oakes, 18, as he launches the Raleigh Charity Ride Cycle Marathon in Hyde Park, London. Sponsored by the Tea Council and Occasional Oil, the cycle marathon will last 49 days during which teams of Operation Raleigh venturers will complete a 2700 mile course taking in Land's End, John O'Groats and most of the major towns in England, Scotland and Wales.
