Muslim leaders speak as trial of accused London attacker starts

Leaders of the National Council of Canadian Muslims and the Muslim community in London, Ont., say community members are hoping justice will be served in the trial of the accused in the deaths of four members of a Muslim family in London in 2021. Chair of the London Council of Imams Abd Alfatah Twakkal says the attack was senseless act of hatred and the Muslim community has shown a strength and resilience to maintain its identity with patience and perseverance since the attack that took place in June 2021.
