Trudeau calls wildfire situation ‘extraordinarily serious’

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is calling the wildfire situation in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories “extraordinarily serious.” Speaking briefly in Charlottetown, Trudeau says the federal government is continuing to step up to help, including deploying military assets. He says the situation has highlighted Canadians helping their fellow citizens.(Aug 20 2023)
