The Montreal Canadiens played host to the first round of the 2022 NHL draft and didn't disappoint. The club sent the crowd at the Bell Centre into a frenzy Thursday by selecting Slovak winger Juraj Slafkovsky with the No. 1 pick. Shane Wright, who was long viewed as the likely top selection, slid all the way to No. 4 where he was taken by the Seattle Kraken.
