Newsroom Ready: Experts draw up plan to get orphaned orca calf out of B.C. lagoon

Experts are working to get an orphaned Bigg’s killer whale out of a lagoon off northern Vancouver Island where it has been stranded since last month when its mother died. They say the complicated process of moving the whale will hopefully start in a week or so after they were unable to coax it out on its own. (April 04, 2024)
