Australia PM Albanese says US President Biden's comments on Wikileaks founder Assange 'encouraging'

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said comments made by President Joe Biden that he is considering a request from Australia to drop the decade-long U.S. push to prosecute Wikileaks founder Julian Assange were encouraging. Albanese said there was "nothing to be gained" by Assange's continued incarceration and urged a conclusion to the situation, stating "enough is enough."
