Thousands of people turned out at Remembrance Day ceremonies across the country to pay their respects to those who died in service to Canada. Gatherings were held in front of Halifax City Hall and at the provincial cenotaph in Fredericton. In Montreal, honour guards from the military, police and fire services formed at Place du Canada square.
