An experienced Vancouver diver and a school teacher Andrea Humphreys described her epic and mind-blowing interaction with a giant octopus in the Campbell River area in mid-October. Humphreys said she has been diving for 12 years and this was the first time an octopus came over to her and gave her a hug.
