State of emergency declared in Alberta due to wildfires

Several thousand people have been ordered to leave their homes as more than 100 wildfires burn across Alberta. At least 31 of the 108 fires are classified as out-of-control, and while weather conditions were improving somewhat in southern and central areas, including some showers as far north as Fox Creek, areas further north weren't as lucky.
