Newsroom Ready: Crowsnest Pass residents say highway twinning will desecrate historical site

ome residents of Crowsnest Pass say a planned twinning of Highway 3 through the community in southwestern Alberta will amount to a 'desecration' of the site of Canada's deadliest rock slide in Frank, Alta. which killed at least 92 people in 1903. The site is a protected heritage site but plans for the highway involve some construction on part of the site.
