International Trade Minister Mary Ng says the protests that closed the Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Ont., earlier this month prove the point she's often making to U.S. counterparts: trade between the two countries is critical for their collective economic health. Ng is in Washington, D.C., for her third visit in as many months, for meetings aimed at reinforcing the Canada-U.S. trade relationship.
