Newsroom Ready: PM says he kept hoping more money, or pressure, would help meet water-advisory goal

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he always knew it would be tough to lift all boil-water advisories in First Nations communities by March 2021, but it only became clear within the last month or so that some would remain after the deadline has passed. He says COVID-19 restrictions have blocked access to certain Indigenous communities and it recently became clear that it would not happen in time, despite his hope that adding more money, or more pressure, would be enough to speed things up.
