Poilievre challenges Liberals support for a pipeline with motion in House of Commons

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is challenging the Liberals to show true support for a new pipeline with a motion in the House of Commons, which he amended to try and overcome some Liberal objections. Liberal MP Corey Hogan says the amendments still leave the motion divisive and will not do anything to get a pipeline built. (Dec. 9, 2025)
