Trevor Halford says B.C.'s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act must be repealed immediately after a court ruled that it must interpreted through the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. He says this opens the door to judges rather than MLAs deciding whether provincial law is consistent with UNDRIP. (Dec. 8, 2025)
