‘Russians at War’ team worry doc’s backlash will lead filmmakers to ‘self-censor’
After a year of cancellations, protests and threats, “Russians at War” is bypassing traditional channels and releasing directly to audiences. It was dropped by TVO and the Toronto International Film Festival last year cancelled screenings due to security reasons. (Aug. 12, 2025)
