The family of Ashlee Shingoose took part in a special court hearing to provide victim impact statements one year after her killer, Jeremy Skibicki, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. Shingoose was one of four First Nations women Skibicki killed in 2022, but she wasn't identified until after his trial. (Aug. 15, 2025)
