Legends from 1976 Canada Cup team reunite almost 50 years later

Members of Canada’s 1976 men’s hockey team gathered to celebrate their win over Czechoslovakia in the inaugural Canada Cup final nearly 50 years ago. While less celebrated than the 1972 Summit Series, the 1976 team is considered one of the best Canadian hockey rosters ever assembled. The Canada Cup was also the first “best on best” international hockey tournament ever. (Aug. 12, 2025)
