Fertility advocates say they're disappointed the Liberal government did not make good on its campaign promise to fund in vitro fertilization treatments in the federal budget. Baden Colt said the $20,000 the Liberals promised in April would be "life-changing" for her family. Colt has a two-year-old daughter by surrogacy, and says she wants others to have the same opportunity. (Nov. 20, 2025)
