Defence Minister David McGuinty toured the shipyard of South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean - one of two finalists for Canada's submarine contract - along with Prime Minister Mark Carney on Thursday. Canada and South Korea have signed a new defence partnership agreement that will involve more frequent joint exercises and training, as well as improved interoperability and exchanges of military personnel, equipment and supplies.
