Nova Scotia’s largest wildfire has grown as firefighters contend with stronger winds in the Annapolis Valley. Officials from the Department of Natural Resources said wind shifts late Friday, as Hurricane Erin passed well off the coast, pushed the Long Lake fire west. (Aug. 23, 2025)
