House of Commons ends fall sitting with finger pointing and poetry
The House of Commons rose for the Christmas break, with Liberal House Leader Steven MacKinnon and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre each accusing the other party of obstructing efforts to make progress on legislation. In a tradition on Parliament Hill, several MPs also stood to deliver their own partisan versions of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. (Dec. 11, 2025).
