Names that could be on the move before the NHL trade deadline
A few dominoes have already tumbled ahead of the NHL trade deadline. The Canadian Press takes a look at some of the other names that could be moved between now and February 25th. Columbus Blue Jackets' Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky are both set to become unrestricted free agents as of July 1st. Ottawa Senators' Matt Duchene and Mark Stone have each expressed a desire to stay in the nation's capital. Philadelphia Flyers' Wayne Simmonds would be an ideal rental for a team looking to make a playoff push. Carolina Hurricanes' Micheal Ferland and Dougie Hamilton could be on the move before the deadline. Red Wings' Gustav Nyquist and Rangers' Mats Zuccarello probably aren't in the plans of the rebuilding of the Detroit and New York teams. Two goalies potentially changing addresses are Cam Talbot and Jimmy Howard Both netminders are set to become UFAs on July 1st.
