The world is a little less grumpy, as the owners of Grumpy Cat say the internet sensation has died. A post on Grumpy Cat's official Twitter page says the sourpuss experienced complications from a urinary tract infection and passed away peacefully on Tuesday. Grumpy Cat, whose real name was Tarder Sauce, rose to fame after her photos were posted online in 2012. Her website says her grumpy look was likely because she had a form of dwarfism. Grumpy Cat was featured on commercials and in festivals and made numerous appearances on talk shows with owner Tabatha Bundesen. She had more than 2 million followers on Instagram and more than 1 million on Twitter. Thousands of people took to social media to share their sadness and their favourite Grumpy Cat moments.
