Canada extends flight ban on India and Pakistan

Transport Minister Omar Alghabra says Canada is extending its ban on flights from India and Pakistan until June 21 due the risk of COVID-19 variants of concern. Deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo says the situation is improving in Canada, however, with the number of residents vaccinated doubling over the past five weeks to 20 million.
