Alberta commits $8M in grants on undocumented deaths in residential schools
Alberta is committing $8 million in grants for Metis and First Nations groups to locate the remains and honour the memories of residential school victims. Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says the government has a moral obligation to help these groups deal with and heal from the trauma of the residential school system.
