BC Legislature-20211004

A 1200-yr-old slab of yellow cedar known as a cookie from the old growth forest in the Port Renfrew area was removed from the west annex area where the Premier's office is located. A sit-in by Fairy Creek land defenders took place the entire day as members of the legislature opened the fall session at legislature in Victoria, B.C., on Monday, October 4, 2021.
