OTTAWA. x--14s. The federal government is promising 900-million-dollars in compensation to settle multiple class-action lawsuits filed by survivors of sexual harassment, gender discrimination and sexual assault in the military. One claim, filed by three former members of the military, said the Armed Forces was poisoned by a discriminatory and sexualized culture that encouraged sexual misconduct and was caused by a failure in leadership. Plaintiff Amy Graham says she is most excited for policy changes included in the agreement.
