AURORA. x--11s. Police north of Toronto say more than two dozen people have been arrested and authorities have seized about 35-million dollars in luxury items in what they're calling a massive organized crime takedown. York Regional Police Chief Eric Jolliffe (joh-LEEF') says the 18-month investigation dubbed "Project Sindacato" involved an Italian family that had allegedly been operating a criminal organization in the Greater Toronto Area for about three decades.
