Beverly De Grasse says she’s on a high and doesn’t know how to come down after her son Andre’s gold medal win in the 200m run at the Tokyo Olympics. Unable to attend the games due to pandemic restrictions, she says even though she was expecting the win it was surreal to witness it on television.
