Restrictions and advice on going to cottages and rural properties will vary among provinces and regions, Dr. Theresa Tam says, but the point should always be to avoid putting stress on local health systems that wouldn't be able to handle very many sick people. The advice comes as some people are hoping to be able to travel this summer, even within a couple of weeks, to properties they own outside cities.
