B.C. reports three COVID-19 deaths, 48 new cases

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported three deaths related to COVID-19 on Monday and 48 new cases, bringing British Columbia's total to 472 people infected with the novel coronavirus. Henry says two of the three deaths are residents of long-term care homes in Metro Vancouver and the third death was a person living in the Fraser Health region. There have now been 13 deaths related to COVID-19 in B.C. Henry says people appear to be following her orders to self-isolate if feeling sick or if they have recently returned to Canada. She also said it's taken several days, but people now appear to be practising physical distancing when outside.
