Quebec launches massive testing effort in Montreal, epicentre of the virus in Canada

Public health authorities in Quebec are launching a massive testing effort in the greater Montreal area to try and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Canada's epicentre of the virus. Dr. Horacio Arruda, director of public health, had previously said he expected Quebec to administer 14,000 tests per day by the end this week, but so far the province has the capacity to administer about 10,000.
