Freeland says Canadians understand need for caution on COVID-19

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland says Canadians understand the importance of a cautious, careful approach to reopening the economy after the COVID-19 shutdown. Freeland says the latest job numbers show the magnitude of the sacrifice Canadians have made so far, and the importance of making sure it wasn’t in vain. She says both Canada and the U.S. agree shutting down their shared border has cut down on non-essential travel significantly.
