Newsroom Ready: MPs learn to ‘unmute’ themselves in virtual House of Commons

Canada’s first-ever virtual House of Commons kicked off Tuesday afternoon and it was not without its technical glitches. Health Minister Patty Hajdu laughed at herself when she was at first unable to figure out how to turn on her microphone. Hajdu says there are signs the spread of COVID-19 is slowing in Canada, but ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities means we remain in a critical period to contain the disease.
