Newsroom Ready: COVID-19 tracing app nearly ready, PM promises

The federal and Ontario governments are about to test a smartphone app that can alert users if they've been close to someone who has later tested positive for COVID-19, Justin Trudeau says. The prime minister promises that the data is anonymized and specific locations aren't tracked, because the government knows that if people are worried about privacy they won't use the app.
