Alberta implements business tax cuts, $10 billion for infrastructure to rebound from COVID-19.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says his government will spend $10 billion on infrastructure right away to help lift the province out of the economic slump caused by low oil prices and the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also accelerating previously announced cuts to the corporate income tax. The Opposition NDP says the infrastructure money will help but a corporate tax cut didn't spur jobs before the pandemic and won't after it.
