Freeland praises USMCA trade agreement in D.C.

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland was in Washington for meetings with U.S. state leaders and federal lawmakers alongside a delegation of premiers seeking to fortify their trade ties with their American counterparts. Freeland thanked the premiers for their support of the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement and echoed their calls for a swift, non-partisan passage of the federal government's implementation bill.
