Newsroom Ready: Trudeau visits First Nation as it investigates unmarked graves

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Williams Lake First Nation in B.C., after it announced in January that a preliminary investigation had found 93 “reflections” that could indicate children buried at the site of the former St. Joseph's Mission Residential School. Trudeau also visited the site on Wednesday. He says the institutions represent a shared history between Indigenous Peoples and all Canadians, who must be part of the journey toward truth and reconciliation.
