Newsroom Ready: Saskatchewan residents to pay more for entertainment

Saskatchewan is adding a six per cent tax to admission fees and entertainment costs, Finance Minister Donna Harpauer says residents will understand because the revenue will go toward addressing a backlog of surgeries. NDP Finance Critic Trent Wotherspoon says the government shouldn’t be hiking taxes at a time when it’s making windfall profits from oil and potash.
