Nuxalk Nation Exhibition 20250219

A S7ayulh (Thunder being) mask carved by the late Yakulhas Glenn Tallio, of the Nuxalk Nation, is displayed during a preview of a new exhibition dedicated to the Nuxalk Nation of Bella Coola, B.C., at the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, B.C., Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025. "Nuxalk Strong: Dancing Down the Eyelashes of the Sun" is open until Jan. 5, 2026, and features 71 items, with many on loan from museums, private collections and Nuxalk families.
