A coroner’s report on the 2021 death of an Innu man found dead from hypothermia in a portable toilet was avoidable. Coroner  Stéphanie Gamache made 23 recommendations aimed at improving homelessness resources and better services for Indigenous peoples. (May 15, 2025)
