Newsroom Ready: Public safety minister says additional personnel, equipment will be sent to border

Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc says the government is working on a plan to beef up both the human and technical capabilities at the border. LeBlanc says there are no specifics yet but a plan will be in place before Jan. 20, the day president-elect Donald Trump says he will impose punishing tariffs on Canada if it doesn't improve security at the border.
