Three police officers died on Wednesday in Bolivia and several others were injured, one of them seriously, during an operation by security forces to reopen a road in the southern part of the country. The demonstrators blocking main roads are supporters of former President Evo Morales, and have been protesting for several days against his disqualification as a presidential candidate.
