Leaders debate before B.C. fall election

B.C.’s party leaders tussled over affordability, the toxic drug crisis and conspiracy theories in their first debate of their election campaign. The CKNW radio debate quickly evolved into NDP Leader David Eby and B.C. Conservative Leader John Rustad trading barbs on credibility, while B.C. Green Leader Sonia Furstenau said neither were addressing the root causes of issues facing the province. (Oct. 2, 2024)
